Mission Statement

St Anne’s School will continue its contribution to the Roman Catholic faith in the midst of the parish it serves by promoting Gospel values.

We seek to encourage each child to develop his or her individual abilities: spiritual, academic and social, as fully as possible and in a spirit of confidence.
We recognise our responsibilites towards the wider community of Oldham and strive to participate positively in the society in which we live.

About our School

St Anne’s RC Primary School is a Voluntary Aided School which provides Primary Education for girls and boys aged 4 – 11 years. A Nursery unit attached to the school provides facilities for 3 – 4 year olds.

The school is provided by the Trustees of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Salford and is governed by its own Governing Body, the majority of whose members are nominated by the church. It is maintained by Oldham Education Authority.

Our school motto of ‘We Grow Together in God’s Love’ helps all the children and staff to focus on creating a “caring community where everyone is valued” (OFSTED 2004).

The school is conducted in accordance with the rites, practices and observances of the Roman Catholic Faith. We welcome children of other faiths and provide for thier spiritual growth within the overall Catholic ethos of the school.
